The Policies of the Hilo Orchid Society are a set of rules and procedures, approved by the Board of Trustees, covering a large number of things that are too specific to be included in the Bylaws, such as procedures for the Board to create and approve a yearly budget.  Some policies ensure that we conduct ourselves ethically and legally, such as the Conflict of Interest policy and the policy on document retention.  Click here to view the complete list of policies.
