Fashion Show

Leslie Hayes-Cullins models a Wahine Toa design at a previous orchid show.

On Saturday, June 3, 2016, the orchid show will host a fashion show by Wahine Toa Designs.  Models will display new designs for men and women by acclaimed Hawaiian designer Nita Pilago, accompanied by live Hawaiian music.  Following the fashion show, you will be able to purchase Wahine Toa clothing.

Nita Pilago is known for her Polynesian-style designs often named after animals and plants, including hihimanu (manta ray), mano (shark), and tiare (Tahitian gardenia).  Wahine Toa means "brave woman" or "woman warrior" in Maori.
