Join the Hilo Orchid Society
We are proud to provide members many avenues for advancing knowledge of orchid growing.  Members have access to wonderful resources of our society:
• Nearly 200 knowledgeable and community-minded members who are both hobbyists and commercial growers.
• Monthly meetings with interesting and informative programs and speakers.
• A monthly newsletter with tips for successful orchid growing.
• Monthly sharing & talking story about currently blooming plants brought in by members.
• Opportunities to visit commercial greenhouses to see & purchase quality plants at reasonable prices.
• Chances to obtain orchids from our monthly meetings.
• Access to knowledgeable and successful growers to answer your questions.
• Help in troubleshooting your problems with pests and diseases.
• Taking part in Hilo’s second-largest event of the year, our annual show & sale, second only to the Merrie Monarch Festival.
• Meeting new people who share your hobby and passion for orchids!

Second Saturday of each month except August and December, 1:30 pm
Held at Kamana Senior Center, 127 Kamana Street, Hilo
